UPSSSC Junior Assistant

Junior Assistant examination is conducted by the U.P. Subordinate Services Selection Commission. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is the state organization authorized to conduct the various examinations for appointments to various posts. The UPSSSC conducts various examinations within the state of Uttar Pradesh. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply online for the post through the official website http://upsssc.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSSSC Junior Assistant:

Education Qualification: 

  • Passed 10+2 Intermediate exam in any recognized board in India.
  • English Typing Speed – 30 words per minute.
  • Hindi Typing Speed – 25 words per minute.
  • Candidates must have a CCC certificate from DOEACC OR any equivalent Certificate from any institute recognized by the Government.

Age Limit:

Maximum:18 years

Minimum:40 years

Age Relaxation: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission provides age relaxation to the following category candidates.

  • PH Candidates are provided a relaxation of 15 years in the maximum age limit as per the latest existing Government Order dated 03 February 2008.
  • Ex-servicemen are provided an age relaxation of 03 years in the maximum age limit.
  • Skilled players are provided an age relaxation of 05 years in the maximum age limit.
  • Uttar Pradesh’s Candidates(OBC, SC, ST) and other candidates are provided an age relaxation according to Uttar Pradesh reservations rule.

Selection Process for Junior Assistant:

UPSSSC conducts the Junior Assistant Exam in the following 2 stages.

  • Written Examination
  •  Hindi & English Typing Test 

(I) Written Examination for Junior Assistant:

Exam Pattern:

  • The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
  • The time duration for the written test will be 01 Hours & 30 Minutes (90 minutes).
  • There will be a Negative Marking of 1/4 Marks.
  • There will also be a typing test of qualifying nature after the written test.
  • There will be No Interview for this post.
